KARA-CHAD (3500) VIA 3RD ICE SLOPE

1 rope across bergschrund with a bridge, 13 ropes on ice slope. Steepness up to 55°. Ice is clean, smooth, without microrelief, without crevasses. Descent ridge to the east — fragile ice, requires thick ice screws. In the middle of the ridge there is a crevasse, a convenient place for overnight stay. Ascent takes half a day, total time 1.5 days.
