Route description for ascending Nedotroga peak 3080 m via the Eastern ridge, category 2A

The route starts from the same couloir as to Opasnaya 2A. The sections to the saddle between Opasnaya and Nedotroga peaks are the same.

Section R0–R1 300 m. 45° I+. Snow couloir. Avalanche hazard.

Section R1–R2 100 m. 50° II–. Snow-covered rocks. Alternating movement to the right of the avalanche-prone gully.

Section R2–R3 10 m. 65° III–. Wall. Pitons used for belay, rope ladders.

Section R3–R4 8 m. 70° III+. Chimney with microrelief.

Section R4–R5 30 m. 40° II–. Rocky ridge. Belay through bends and outcrops.

Section R5 15 m. 20° I+. Summit ridge. Descent via the ascent route.
