Description of the Ascent Route to Leonova Alekseya Peak via the North Couloir, category 2A.

Leonova mountain is located to the left above Eho lake. The North couloir is seen in the middle of the massif from this point. It takes half an hour to walk from the lake to the route.

Sect. 0–1 300 m. 40° 1. Snow couloir. Sect. 1–2 200 m. 45° 2. Rocky slope in the couloir. Sect. 2–3 500 m. 45° 1. Firn-ice slope in the couloir. Sect. 3–4 100 m. 50° 2. Snow-covered rocks. Traverse left to the ridge. Sect. 4–5 120 m. 55° 2. Large-block rocks. Alternating movement. Descent to the southeast along the ridge and then to the right down a snowy slope.
