Route to Peak Izycskatel (4400 m)
The approach from the hut near Koronsky Glacier is via the right-bank talus and crossing the glacier (1.5 hours). The route goes through the center of the northwest wall: a snowy slope (steepness up to 35–40°, 100 m), a bergschrund (8–10 m, protection via ice screws), followed by a direct ascent up hard ice (50°, 300 m). The ascent duration is 4.5 hours. The route is recommended for training before ascending icy northern walls.
