Mt. Bazardyuzi (4466 m) from the Southwest Cirque, 2A cat. diff. Brief description.

From the village of Kuzun along a dirt road to the village of Lava (about 5 km). From the village of Lava along a good trail on the left side of the Kusarchay river, then along the Shakhnabad river to reach the tract of Shakhyaylag. Cross the Shakhnabad river by bridge. From the village of Kuzun to the bridge — 9–12 h.

Then move upstream along the right side of the Shakhnabad river. Cross the river flowing from the Kurush pass. Then — upstream along the right side of the Yatuхdere river. 200–300 m before the Yatuх pass, on a grassy clearing, at the foot of a rocky hill — good camping spots. From the bridge to the campsite — 6–8 h.

In the upper part of the Yatuхdere river, it is possible to pass along its left side (crossing the river via a snowfield). From the bridge to the Yatuх pass, there is a good trail.

From the campsite, move around the rocky hill on the right. Then cross the river via a snow-ice bridge, go along the right side of the river, moving in the direction of the visible far cirque of Bazardyuzi. Approach the tongue of the glacier; from the campsite, 60–80 min. Start of the route.

Then, along the tongue of the glacier, enter the cirque for 150 m, 2nd cat. diff. Across the cirque in the direction of a clearly visible black spur of the ridge on the right, 500 m, 15°, 1st cat. diff. Bypassing the ridge spur on the left, move up the glacier for 1200 m, 25°, 2nd cat. diff. (in the upper part of the section, there are местами exits onto talus slopes). Exit onto the dome of the main peak of Bazardyuzi. Along the dome to the summit for 300 m, 25° steepness, 1st cat. diff., snow.
