- Peak Profsoyuzov via the Eastern ridge from the North (Category 2B route). From the Shhelda alpine camp (group of 4 to 20 people), ascend via the trail on the right slope of the Shhelda gorge, first through dense forest, then along grassy slopes, to reach the Shhelda glacier. 300 m above the glacier's tongue, exit onto the lateral moraine and follow it, keeping to the right bank of the glacier, for about 500 m upstream. Then, cross over to the right-bank moraine. Continue along the trail on the moraine ridge, then up a grassy slope to ascend through the gorge. Before reaching the confluence of the Akhsu glacier with the Shhelda glacier from the right, exit onto a green meadow near rocks with black stripes — "Aristov's overnight stay" (Nochevka Aristova). This meadow serves as the initial bivouac. From the Shhelda alpine camp, the journey takes 3.5–4 hours. From "Aristov's overnight stay," ascend (without backpacks) along the right lateral moraine of the Shhelda glacier to the confluence with the Akhsu glacier from the right. Cross the Akhsu glacier in its lower part and reach a small hanging glacier of Profsoyuzov peak, descending left of the Akhsu glacier. Ascend via the center of the Profsoyuzov glacier to the icefall. The ascent can also start along the right-bank moraine of the Profsoyuzov glacier, followed by an exit to the center of the glacier. Traverse the icefall to the right, then turn left, cross to the left side of the glacier, and through a bergschrund, exit onto its upper slope. Ascend a steep ice-snow slope (with protection, crampons!) upwards and to the right to reach the ice-snow ridge descending from the saddle between Profsoyuzov peak and Shhelda Western peak. Along a sharp, steep snowy ridge (with protection, crampons!), then up a steep, broad ice-snow slope-couloir, ascend to the saddle between Profsoyuzov peak on the right and Shhelda Western peak on the left. From the saddle, proceed to the right and along a steep snow-firn ridge (with protection!), then via simple rock terrain, ascend to Profsoyuzov peak. From "Aristov's overnight stay," the ascent takes 7–8 hours. Descent via the ascent route takes 5–6 hours. The total duration of the route is 3 days.
