  1. Nakra via North-West Ridge (Route 2B cat. dif.). The path from the "Baksan" alp camp (group 4, 20 people) to the Donguzorun false pass col is described in routes 44 and 48. From the col, go left and 300–400 m up the heavily destroyed simple rocky North-West Ridge to a site below the first rocky ascent of Nakra peak. This part of the ridge can be bypassed on the right by descending from the col 15–20 m to the south, and traversing along the ridge to reach the first snowy ascent. Here, turn left and rise up the snowy slope to the sites on the ridge. The initial bivouac is on the sites. From the "Baksan" alp camp, 9–10 hours. From the sites (without backpacks), ascent along the heavily jagged rocky ridge. Overcome gendarmes head-on or bypass on the right (belay!) and climb up to the site below the second pre-summit rocky ascent along more difficult ridge rocks (pitons belay!). From under the ascent along the slabs and simple destroyed rocks — traverse along the ledge under the wall of the ascent to the right. Behind the overhanging rock, climb up and to the right on the slopes of the West Ridge of the peak along medium-difficulty rocks. From here, straight up along simple rocks, then a snowy slope — ascent to Nakra peak. From the lower sites on the North-West Ridge, 6–8 hours. Climbers' first ascent variant — route 3A cat. dif. From the second sites, straight up along the rocks of the second ascent of the ridge, bypassing two walls on the left (pitons belay!). Then, along medium-difficulty ridge rocks, overcoming gendarmes head-on, ascent to the snowy slope and then to Nakra peak. Ascent time is the same. Descent along the ascent path to the "Baksan" alp camp, 7–8 hours. Route duration is 3 days. Have 2 additional ice screws. (“Baksan Valley”, A.F. Naumov)
