Description

Route description to the summit of p. Ekspeditsionny via upper ridge

From the base camp, we ascend along the trail leading to the Sochi pass for 1 hour. Approaching the eastern ridge, we begin the ascent to the rocky part of the ridge. We traverse along the left part of the edge to the couloir. Up the couloir to the shoulder of the first pinnacle. Belay. Then up along the ridge, belay on outcrops. Reaching the next pinnacle, we bypass it on the left along a diagonal ledge. Through the broken rocks (chocks), we reach the shoulder of the pinnacle. Then up a vertical wall, chocks, and along an inclined ledge, we reach the ridge under the summit tower. The summit tower is overcome in the center, piton belay. Ascent to the summit. Descent via 1B route.
