Brief route description

From the base camp at the "spring" bivouac under the slopes of Girech Western peak to Jarlam pass (1.5 hours). Turn right into the couloir and approach the ten-meter wall (1 hour), belay with pitons, and exit into the main couloir. Then follow the couloir, keeping to the left side along the south-western counterfort. Forty meters before the end of the couloir, ascend left through a chimney to the saddle of the counterfort of the South wall and there is a control cairn. Overcome the walls of the counterfort of the South wall and ascend to the summit via the last gentle slope (from the base camp to the summit 5–7 hours). Descent via the North-West ridge, category 1B complexity, to Jarlam pass.
