BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE ROUTE

From the "Alibek" tourist base up the trail leading to the training cliffs on the slopes of Semyonov-Bashi peak; from the cliffs up the grassy slopes towards the Southern wall of Semyonov-Bashi peak to a large snow cirque under the wall. From "Alibek" tourist base 3 hours.

Up the snow slope with a steepness of 25–30° under the central bastion of the Southern wall. The start of the route is marked with a red arrow on a light-colored eight-meter wall with a steepness of 80°. Up this wall and then along a destroyed ledge left and up 40 m, then right and up through an inside corner to the first control cairn (60 m from the start of the route). Further, crossing a couloir, up under a wall with a steepness of 50–70°, up the wall to a large ledge, second control cairn, a convenient place for a good overnight stay. From the ledge right and up through an inside corner with a steepness of 70° and an overhang in its upper part. Then along an inclined ledge up to the ridge. Along simple rocks of the ridge 60 m to a ten-meter inside corner with an overhang in its upper part. Up the corner, then through a wide, loose gully to the "roof". Up easy rocks of the "roof" in the direction of the Eastern ridge of Semyonov-Bashi peak, where the 1B category difficulty route passes — 300 m. Up the ridge to the Eastern and Western peaks via the 1B category difficulty route.

Descent to the southwest via the 1B category difficulty route.
