A limit-of-a-day or 1–2 day route. A bivouac is possible or likely, and retreat and descent are serious work on their own.
Sustained moderate danger. Good timing and conditions help, but do not remove the risk entirely.
Mixed picture: recurring run-outs, dubious placements, slabs, ledges or swings. A fall may end in injury.
