On the left side of the western counterfort, 4b
The western part of the massif and the most complex southeastern wall are separated by a large internal corner, descending from the summit plateau and named Zelyony (Green) due to the moss covering it. The route begins at the base of the couloir descending from the Zelyony internal corner.
From the climbers' parking lot, walk about 150 m towards Baydarskie Vorota until the start of the ascent to the Zelyony corner.
From the road, start moving up the talus slope towards a steep wall (R0: 100 m, 30°, easy).
On the R1–R2 section — overcoming a small wall, move right along a shelf to a large internal corner turning into a sheer chimney on the left side of a pillar. Up it to the top of the pillar (R1–R2: 8 m, 75°, IV; 10 m, 40°, easy; 20 m, 75°, IV).
On the R2–R3 section — first 5 m up under a small overhang along the pillar, and then, overcoming it:
- up and slightly left along a steep wall for 30 m (R2–R3: 20 m, 80°, V; 20 m, 75°, IV).
On the R3–R4 section — slightly left, and then up to the exit onto a horizontal shelf at the base of the Zelyony corner (R3–R4: 80 m, 60–70°, III).
On the R4–R5 section — 5 m to the right of the base of the Zelyony corner, up to a chimney. Then up it, and further up and slightly left to a tree (R4–R5: 40 m, 75°, IV).
On the R5–R6 section — first, traverse to an inclined shelf, and then along the walls to the internal corner and up it to the right (R5–R6: 45 m, 60°, III).
On the R6–R7 section — up and to the right to a large tree, bypassing an overhanging wall (R6–R7: 40 m, 75°, IV).
On the R7–R8 section — up and to the right for 40 m to the exit onto the western counterfort and along it to a grotto (niche) (R7–R8: 40 m, 70°, III).
On the final section of the route — first up a steep wall to the right of the niche, and then along the internal corner, exit onto the summit plateau (R8 to the summit: 40 m, 70°, III). The length of the main part of the route is about 400 m. The time taken to complete the route is 4–5 hours. P.S. This is one of the longest and most challenging category 4 routes in the area.
