The route begins from a couloir between buttresses. Approach along the snow slope beneath an ice-and-mixed gully with a steepness of 60-70° and a length of 40 meters. Exit onto a ledge. From the ledge directly up the wall trending slightly left. Difficult climbing with natural protection and pitons. The second pitch reaches a ledge before the chimney. The chimney slightly overhangs, the climbing is strenuous. After the chimney, exit onto the ridge and then 5 pitches along the ridge at grade 5c with small cruxes of 6a+. Then a traverse pitch to the right of the ridge and exit onto a ledge, an equipped bivouac site. A two-person tent can be pitched. After the ledge, the ridge leads to slabs for 2 pitches and exits onto small ledges below the upper crux. The upper crux is an overhanging chimney. After the chimney, 2 pitches along the ridge and exit by traversing across broken rock and scree slopes into the snow basin at the upper part of the Erapunov Route 3A via the SW couloir. Then exit via the couloir onto the south slope and walking ascent to the summit. In winter, the slope is covered with ice. Slope steepness 45°. Descent via the Erapunov Route, or via the north slope.
